I made this image with a 6 second- exposure, f/14, using a black cloth in front of the zoom lens as I transitioned between angles. The result struck me as mysterious, with this young woman in red that is far away, so close. The overall blurred image witnesses our own movements and symbolizes the truth and imperfection of our lives - which can be wide open and narrow simultaneously.
